Spall repairs and building coating on Phoenix II.
The process involved a comprehensive spalling repair project, followed by the installation of a new coating and waterproofing envelope system. As a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute, the concrete spalls on this building were repaired under the most current standards in the concrete repair industry. The coating of the building was completed with a self-cleaning product to keep the building immaculate for years to come. All sealants around the doors and windows were replaced to remediate any water intrusion issues in the perimeter seals. At the completion of the project, Coastal was awarded the north and south coating of all balconies and walkways. Coastal will also be completing a handrail renovation, which includes repairs or replacements of damaged handrails along with a coating system using two parts hi-solids urethane to protect the rails and keep them preserved.
